JOY Church School Summer Sleep-Over

Date: Friday, August 6 - Saturday, August 7, 2010
The annual summer JOY ("Jesus, Others, You") Summer Sleep-Over will begin Friday afternoon, August 6 and conclude on Saturday afternoon, August 7 at the same time.  Outdoor field events, crafts, games, a movie, and an evening campfire will make for a fun-filled time together for all the children! We are also delighted to announce that His Grace, Bishop Michael will be joining us for the entire time of the event! Here's a tentative schedule:

Friday
3:00 pm (approx) Welcome Bishop Michael
3:30 Volley Ball for the Teens, Beach Ball with the Sprinkler for the younger children
5:30-6:30 Dinner
7:00 Children's Service in Church
8:00 Bible Stories
9:30 Campfire with Bible songs and conversations with Bishop Michael
11:00 Clean up and set up for quiet time preparing for bed.

Saturday
9:00 Wake up call
9:30 Matins
10:15 Breakfast
11:15 Clean-up and flower planting
12:30 Lunch
1:00 Bible games and crafts (beaded prayer rope & tees shirts)
2:30 Prayer outside over the family pets and group picture
3:00 Final talk with Bishop Michael
4:00 Vespers and dismissal and final thanks to and blessing from Bishop Michael
